EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION FOR LIFE!
At CORE4, kids get prepared for life by learning essential life skills we call the CORE4: Food, Fitness, Finances & Friendships. These are the skills that that everyone needs but does not learn in school. They are also the skills that create independent, healthy individuals. Wherever they go in life, they will have the tools to be successful and healthy!
Food is energy. See how food can maximize performance – in school, sports, and in life. Kids learn food preparation, meal planning, how to make and budget a grocery list, how to read food labels, and how to make up their own creative dishes.
Physical fitness increases mental and emotional fitness – they are inextricably linked. We help kids make that connection whether they’re already involved in sports or have not been very active. Kids learn ways to stay and be fit, and the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork.
Mastering money management is a life-critical skill. Through a series of fun activities, children learn how to create financial goals and a budget, how to make and manage money, open checking-savings accounts, and how to use credit and debit cards responsibly.
Life is all about relationships. Woven throughout the activities are exercises and lessons meant to help kids learn how to navigate relationships, be a good friend, handle difficult social situations such as rejection and bullying, and how to manage social media.
